We are Tunturi, a global, leading brand in the market for fitness equipment, fitness accessories, and strength stations. We are best known for our products for home use, but you can also find us in places such as physiotherapy practices, hotels, and gyms. Founded in 1922, we revolutionized the fitness world in 1969 by introducing the world's first ergometer home trainer for domestic use. Today, our range consists of a wide variety of accessories and devices for cardio and strength training.
Our mission is to support as many people as possible on their journey to a healthy body, a balanced mind, and a happy life. We take pride in this, as for us, there is only one thing that matters: to make you feel better every day.
In 2022, we also acquired the brand Fluid, a high-quality brand for rowing machines with water resistance. This fits perfectly into our DNA. To continually innovate in sales strategy, in 2024, we also became the owners of Fitnessdelivery, an online sales platform for the sale of various fitness brands. We have been working closely with them for several years. This enriches our knowledge of online sales and marketing. This also includes three physical franchise stores that we can effectively use to serve customers in the Benelux region.
We are a flat organization and very hands-on. We do many things ourselves, celebrating our successes together and facing our challenges. All doors are always open, and there is a sporty and informal atmosphere. Many of our colleagues have been with Tunturi for a long time, with anniversaries of 20 years or more not being uncommon. We see this as evidence that we take good care of our people, ensuring the retention of extensive knowledge about products and markets.
Our organization is growing rapidly, and we work every day to strengthen our position as a global and leading fitness brand. Our team consists of approximately 40 colleagues. From our headquarters in Almere, we handle the procurement, sales, marketing, after-sales, product development, and distribution of all our products. We operate in more than 50 countries, and we add countries to this list annually.
